Karen L. Roberts, age 71, of Scio, formerly of Jewett, passed away Friday, January 19, 2024, at Weirton Medical Center, Weirton, WV.
Born March 22, 1951, in Dennison, she was a daughter of the late William “Bill” Rose and Vera Easlick Rose. After graduating from high school, she furthered her education at Belmont Technical College, receiving a degree in nursing. She worked for Harrison Comminuty Hospital’s Scio Family Health Center for many years.
Karen was devoted to caring for her family and will be sadly missed by her sons Troy (Angel) Bennett of Jewett and Shane Roberts of Scio, a brother Kevin Rose of the New Rumley area, grandchildren Kyle, Tajah, Shevelle, Marissa, Chelsey, Nicole and Anessia and numerous cousins.
