Lisa Kaye Crall, 53, of Bolivar, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 19, at her home.
Lisa was brought into this world on May 22, 1962 at Dennison, Ohio by June (Mull) Hawthorne of Bolivar and the late David Hawthorne.
Discovered to be hard of hearing, this never stopped her from learning instruments, she enjoyed the accordion, piano, and guitar. She also enjoyed trips to Amish Country, Myrtle Beach and Reno and her love for animals and nature was endless. Lisa worked as a professional medical coder with over 30 years of experience for area and nationwide hospitals.
She is survived by her mother June Hawthorne, siblings Mark Hawthorne, Pamela Alawmleh, and Lee-Anne Stuhlmiller, and only daughter Gabrielle who is expecting Lisa’s granddaughter, Liliana.
In keeping with Lisa’s wishes, cremation will take place through the care of the Geib Funeral Center at Dover. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Those wishing to do so may send the family a personal condolence and light a candle in remembrance of Lisa by visiting the funeral home website, www.geibcares.com.
Contributions may be made in Lisa’s memory to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 1432 Tall Timber Road NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.

Sending hugs and prayers. I used to work with Lisa and she was the sweetest, kindest and funniest person i ever met. I loved her laugh. She would have been the greatest grandma but she will be watching from above. Gabrielle, she loved you more than anything and was so proud of her little girl and will be watching over. It will be tough but your mom was a fighter so i am sure you are one too. I have great memories with your mom as i know you do too so hang on to those. God bless.
I am so sorry to hear about Lisa. I worked with her for many years at Aultman. She was so nice and so much fun to be around. I will miss her very much!
My thought and prayers to Gabrielle and all your family.
God Bless.
