HARRISON COUNTY – Friday afternoon, five indictments were handed down for Wesley B. Clark who is accused of murdering Dustin Moreland of Dennison within the limits of Harrison County. Moreland allegedly answered an advertisement for a job in Texas but before he even left the state, it is alleged that he met up with and fell into some kind of altercation with Clark. Moreland’s body was found several days after he turned up missing.
The five counts read as : Aggravated murder, murder, having weapons while under disability and the last two for tampering with evidence. Clark could be brought back to Harrison County as soon as the following week but it was unclear if he would appear in court the week of July 20-27.
Amanda N. Singhaus was also indicted for one count of trafficking in heroin. She appeared in Harrison County Court Wednesday afternoon to waive her right to time in which a preliminary hearing must be held. Singhaus is from Bridgeport and was arrested June 3.
