CADIZ – Parents of Taylor Jordan Dowdle, tragically killed in an automobile accident back in March of 2014 are raffling off a sweet Harley Davidson motorcycle FLHX Street Glide from Neidengard’s. Tickets are $10 and proceeds go towards the Taylor Jordan Dowdle Scholarship Fund, where scholarships will be given out exclusively to Harrison Hills’ seniors.

The 2015 scholarships were just handed out this May to three Harrison Hills seniors worth $3,500 each (Jordan Erdos, Amanda Johnson and Austin Sambuco). The Dowdle’s want to prevent the same thing from happening to someone else’s child as well as keeping her memory alive.

Also, there will be the 2nd annual Scholarship Run held on Saturday, Sept. 19 at the Hopedale American Legion. Registration begins at 10 a.m. and is free. There is a $20 fee for each bike participating in the run, which begins at 11.am. There will also be a Chinese auction, dinner and entertainment with all proceeds benefiting the TJD Scholarship Fund for next year (thetjdscholarshipfund.weebly.com).
