John S. “Bussy” Dometrovich, 71, of Cadiz, died Tuesday at Harrison Community Hospital, Cadiz. He was born November 21, 1942 in Wheeling, W.Va., a son of the late John and Helen L. Yonick Dometrovich.
John was a Foreman at the Consolidation Coal Company’s Nitrate Plant, and was the owner and operator of Cadiz Florist. He was a member of the UMWA and bred and raised miniature horses.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Keith Dometrovich. Surviving are his wife, Sue Ann Custer Dometrovich; a brother, Ronald (Merrill (nee Tarlton)) Dometrovich of Cadiz; two sisters, Joyce (Roy) McClain of Jewett and Doris (Lee) Cline of Sun City Center, Fla.; a sister-in-law, Bernadette (nee Raymer) Dometrovich; and several nieces and nephews.
