An investigation remains underway into the May 19 explosion that rocked the community of Scio and reduced a home to rubble. The blast sent debris across Ohio 151 and into neighboring yards, while several home sustained other damages.

A natural gas leak was not ruled out but the Ohio Fire Marshal’s Office was reviewing possible criminal charges. Anyone with information about the incident should call the state Fire and Explosion Investigation Bureau at 1-800-589-2728.
