The Cadiz Business Association donated $1,200 to the Harrison Central High School Marching Band to assist with the purchase of two new uniforms. Band Director Jay Woods, pictured with CBA President Rebecca Bowman, said the band currently has 98 members but the number is expected to jump to more than 110 next year and more uniforms were greatly needed.
Two free concerts are set with the junior high and select choirs performing on May 20 and the high school and jazz bands taking the stage on May 21.
The donation was given in appreciation of the Select Choir’s performance at the Community Recognition Banquet in March.
