Crews with RAZE International of Shadyside worked to demolish the three-story brick Hines Building next door to the Harrison County Courthouse. The site has been eyed as a possible jail annex but commissioners deemed it hazardous and took precautions to bring it down. About $39,000 was spent for razing and asbestos abatement and funds came from one of the commissioners’ special revenue accounts.
