CADIZ – The 165th Harrison County Fair kicks off this week with plenty of fun, food and farm animals to enjoy.
The fair runs from July 3-7 at the fairgrounds in Cadiz and passes are $25 for the week, or five admissions, with $5 for a membership to the county agricultural society and voting privileges for next year’s fair board. Daily gate admissions are $6 for ages 3 and up and senior citizens get in free on Tuesday, while carloads may enter for $10 on July 4 until 3 p.m. All amusement rides, entertainment and grandstand seating are included in the price.
The Buckeye Horse Puller’s Association Horse Pull is set for Wednesday at 7 p.m. plus tractor pulls, a demolition derby and Mud Bogg are among the many grandstand attractions at the fair in Cadiz. Amusement rides, animals and displays will also be featured during the festivities.
