CADIZ – About 3,831 Harrison County residents turned out on Super Tuesday—nearly a third of the county’s more than 10,500 registered voters—to render their decisions on various races and issues, leading to some surprising results.

County Election Board Director Jessi Bumgardner said a lower turnout was anticipated when ballots were cast March 6, but the numbers should pick up come this fall’s general election.
