Former Harrison County Juvenile Court Clerk Cathy Rose received three days in jail and two years’ probation after being sentenced on Wednesday. She was convicted of theft in office and tampering charges but family and friends pleaded for leniency, including her ailing daughter. Rose also received electronic home monitoring and repaid most of the restitution and related fees tied to the case.
More information on the proceedings can be found in this weeks print edition of the Harrison News-Herald.
