That was the cry from the Polar Express Conductor (aka Librarian Mrs. Reese) at Harrison North Elementary earlier this week, welcoming her students onto the train for a one-of-a-kind Christmas adventure.

Students enjoyed milk and cookies as Aide Mrs. Phillips read the story of the Polar Express and led Christmas carols. Pictured above are kindergarten students from Ms. Tipton’s class getting their tickets punched as they boarded the “train.” At the conclusion of the students’ trip to the North Pole, they were each given a Christmas bell as a keepsake, courtesy of (who else)…Santa Clause.

Santa will also be paying close attention to the many letters  published in the “Letters to SANTA” section in this weeks print edition of the Harrison News-Herald.
