BARNESVILLE – The Belmont County Historical Society, operators of the Victorian Mansion Museum, would like to invite the public to relive the magic of a Victorian Christmas this holiday season. The museum’s annual “Magic of Christmas” Tours are set to kick off on Saturday, November 26 and Sunday 27 from 1 until 4 p.m.

Children will also be able to enjoy a Victorian visit with Santa on Saturday, November 26 from 10 a.m. -12:30 p.m. and 4 -6 p.m. There is no admission charge for the visits with St. Nick, but children are asked to bring a canned food item in the spirit of Christmas, that will be donated to area food banks. Pictures will also be available for a small fee.

On December 2, the museum will host its popular Victorian Christmas Tea at 2 p.m. The cost for the tea is $15, and reservations are a must. To reserve your spot at the tea party, call 740-695-0766, 740-425-2273, or 740-484-4716 by November 29.

The “Magic of Christmas” Tours will also be held on the following dates in December: Fridays- December 2, 9, and 16 from 5 -8 p.m.; and Saturdays and Sundays- December 3, 4, 10, 11, 17, and 18 from 1 -4 p.m. The museum will offer additional tours by appointment from December 26 through January 9 by calling 740-425-1112, 740-425-2273, 740-425-2343, or 740-484-4716.
