Pictured is Harrison County resident Patricia Glover, with “Mac,” her two-year-old Boxer mix, who was among more than 100 dogs and cats being treated at the Jefferson County Fairgrounds during a visit by the R.A.S.C.A.L. Unit (Roaming Animal Sterilization Clinic at Low Cost). “Mac” underwent a neuter procedure. The visit was hosted by Hounds’ Haven animal shelter and opened to pets and their owners from Harrison, Jefferson and Belmont counties. This is the third Rascal Unit visit sponsored by the shelter this year, offering spay/neuter surgeries or other medical treatment at discounted prices.
