Featured in this weeks print edition of the Harrison News-Herald are the Village Inn and New 2 You; two new Harrison County businesses.

HOPEDALE – Travelers looking for a tranquil rest can stop at the Village Inn in Hopedale. Owner Susan Snyder said business has steadily picked up since the bed and breakfast opened in recent months.  The two-story refurbished house is located at 184 E. Main St. and provides a quiet place of respite and room for meetings and other get-togethers.

“Everything is new. Everything is a learning experience,” said Snyder, shown standing by the soothing fountain located in the foyer. “Hopedale is a wonderful little town. Everybody in the village is welcoming to a new business to draw and attract and take care of their own. It’s a wonderful environment.” For more information call 740-937-9988.

CADIZ – Everything old is new again at the New 2 You Children’s Consignment Store now open in Cadiz. Owners Connie Rose and Sabrina Greer, both of Cadiz, officially set up shop this past week at 160 Cunningham Lane near Mizer Printing and offer quality clothing and other goods at bargain prices. The friends came up for the idea after noticing a lack of local consignment businesses that cater to kids.

New 2 You Children’s Consignment Store offers a variety of brand-name items for bargain prices. Pictured, co-owner Sabrina Greer poses in just one of the rooms full of clothing and accessories. The shop is open Tuesday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. For more information, call 740-942-1122.
