Sgt. Eric Wilson, Harrison County DARE officer, led a program for teens at Harrison Central Jr./Sr. High School and Harrison Career Center to discuss the dangers of drinking and texting while driving. He was joined by Sheriff Joe Myers, county Prosecutor Shawn Hervey, and juvenile probation officer Paige Wood.

With the long holiday weekend and area graduation ceremonies and celebrations ahead, everyone is urged to take extra precaution. “Always drive on the defensive side, not on the offensive side,” Myers said.
