Two Harrison County businesses are celebrating anniversaries this month. The Felgenhauer/Saylor family has been serving up cool treats for 40 years at B & F Dairy Bar on Eastport Street, Scio while, Frank “Nip” and Tammy Mattern celebrate the 15th anniversary of Mattern Tire, located at 349 Lincoln Avenue, Cadiz. Both businesses will hold celebrations when the warmer weather arrives and wish to thank their communities and loyal customers for their support.

Tammy Mattern is also busy with her newest venture, the Lincoln Inn at 425 Lincoln Avenue in Cadiz. Mattern has transformed this circa 1850’s home into a beautiful, warm, and welcoming bed and breakfast. There are currently five rooms/suites available for rental.

Coming soon to Cadiz at the end of the month is the Submarina/Taste of China Restaurant located on Lincoln Avenue at the previous KFC/Taco Bell location. Owner Samuel Liang said the California-based Submarina sandwich shop specializes in sandwiches with a West Coast twist, while Taste of China is a family-based establishment that provides authentic Asian fare.
Anniversary congratulations and a hardy welcome to the new businesses are in order!
