FLUSHING – “The closing of our post office was unjustified and we would like to know what gives postal representatives the right to willfully violate federal law. The State of Ohio needs all the jobs we can get and depriving our town’s residents of a real post office surely will hurt the economic rebound of our community.” This is part of a two-page letter sent to the Postmaster General in Washington, D. C. from concerned residents in Flushing, questioning the closure of the Flushing Post Office. More details of the letter and local residents issues with the postal service can be found in this weeks print issue of the Harrison News-Herald.
