CADIZ – Toby Rusciano, Emma Rusciano, Jordan Brown and Ashley Phillipson prepare to keep comfortable this winter through the annual Operation Warm campaign. The Help Me Grow Program, in conjunction with the Harrison Hills City School District and area churches, are sponsoring the free coat giveaway this month. Donations of money, coats, hats and gloves are being taken and the items will be distributed on Oct. 23 from 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. at Scio United Methodist Church and Oct. 30 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Piedmont United Methodist Church.

Community members may donate new coats, hats or gloves, contribute gently used items or donate $15 to purchase a coat. There is no income requirement to receive the items and the program is open to people who reside inside the county. Children must be present to try on the accessories.

Monetary donations can be made in cash or by check payable to Cadiz Presbyterian Church and sent to Help Me Grow, 115 W. Warren St., Cadiz, Ohio 43907. Checks must also list Operation Warm in the memo section. Clothing contributions can be taken to the Help Me Grow office between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Monday through Thursday.
